    Description
    This course presents the structure, function, diversity and phylogeny of plant, fungal, and protistan taxa. Topics include comparative plant structure and function, physiology, development, evolution, phylogeny, and taxonomy. Principles of population, community, and ecosystem ecology are emphasized. The laboratory component of the course emphasizes observation, experimentation, and field techniques. Field trips may be required to fulfill course objectives. C-ID: BIOL 155
