    Description
    This is a laboratory survey of the major principles of biology. It is the recommended course to accompany BIO 1 or BIO 1H. Topics include the application of laboratory equipment and procedures to the investigation of biological systems from the biochemical, cellular, organismal, ecological, and evolutionary perspective. Students may take BIO 1L concurrently with the BIO 1 or BIO 1H lecture or after, but not prior to either.
