    Description
    This course is an integrated survey of the major principles of biology. General topics include molecular and cell biology, physiology, genetics, ecology/environmental science and evolution. This course is recommended for students seeking to fulfill the general education requirement in life sciences or as an introductory course for students pursuing advanced study in the life sciences and related fields. Credit may be earned in either BIO 1 or 1H, but not both.
