    Description
This introductory course traces the development of astronomy from ancient times to the present. The course examines the solar system, including the moon, sun, and planets; the composition and evolution of stars and galaxies; and theories of the origin of the universe. This honors course is enriched due to field trip attendance, conducting research, additional writing assignments, and a limited class size. Credit in either ASTR 20 or ASTR 20H, but not both.
    Usually Held
    Tue Thu 11:00am–12:15pm, 11:00am–12:15pm
