    Description
    This AESL course prepares advanced English language learners to communicate as healthcare professionals within the American medical system. Emphasis is on the language and career readiness skills medical personnel need for communication with patients and healthcare workers. Students will improve their English vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, and reading skills while role-playing healthcare-related conversations and interpreting medical documents. This is a noncredit open-entry/open-exit course.
