    POST 160 is designed to satisfy the Regular Basic Course Modular Format Level III training standards as set forth by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.). Includes Leadership, professionalism and ethics, criminal Justice system, policing in the community, criminal law and laws of arrest, search and seizure, vehicle operations, report writing, First Aid/CPR, traffic enforcement, cultural diversity / discrimination, arrest and control tactics and weaponry, use of force / de-escalation, custody, and use and care of firearms / chemical agents. Supply fee may be charged. Designed to prepare students to be hired by a law enforcement agency as a Reserve Officer Level III and is a prerequisite for POST 162. (Formerly AJ 160)
