Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course provides the opportunity for older adults to learn Mariachi Instruments from the beginning stage to a proficient stage, and to perform Mariachi repertoire using proper styles, techniques, accentuations, and expressivity on instruments of their choice - including violin, viola, cello, guitar, vihuela, guitarron, small harp, accordion, trumpet, and voice. Music notation and music reading is also taught to facilitate music repertoire learning, as well as performing in a group.
