    Description
    An introduction to music literature with emphasis on listening experience. Students study the expressive materials of music and the major forms of music literature including music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras as well as 20th century, Jazz, American music, Rock, and Non-Western music. Emphasis placed on the skills and understanding necessary for lifelong music listening experiences.
