    Description
    An introduction into fire investigation. This intense course will include principles of determining cause, recognizing and preserving evidence, interviewing witnesses and suspects, arrests, and detention procedures, point of origin determination, motives of the fire setter, and report writing. Successful completion will satisfy one of the State Fire Marshall's training requirements for certification as a Fire Investigator I. Additional materials fee applies.
