- This course will cover the functions and responsibilities of caregiving for older adults in both formal and informal settings. Students will explore physical as well as social and emotional needs of those receiving care. Topics include elder abuse, family caregiving, end of life care, death, dying and grief, older adult care issues and risk reduction and home safety.
