    The course is designed to provide the student with information on the processing systems of the body and how they react to alcohol and drugs. This course will seek to explain where and how drugs act and why. The course will bring about an understanding of how drugs influence consciousness, mood and feeling. It will enable students to understand that both the internal and external environments have important effects on the well-being of the individual.
