Transfers ToCSUDescriptionDesigned for students employed or volunteering in a field related to their college major or career goals to assist them in the development of skills and responsibilities related to their career choice. Structured objectives are developed and agreed upon by the student, college instructor, and employer. Students are eligible to earn 1 unit for 60 hours of volunteer work or for 75 hours of paid work. A maximum of four credit hours per semester may be earned up to a total of 16 semester credit hours in the Parallel Plan. A maximum of eight credit hours may be earned during one enrollment period up to a total of 16 semester credit hours for the Alternate Plan.
