Students will analyze and evaluate oral and written arguments by identifying fallacies, testing evidence and evidence sources, advancing reasoned positions, and defending and refuting arguments. This will result in one-on-one debates presented in front of a live audience and evaluated by a faculty member. Topics will focus on domestic and international current events, with an emphasis on social justice issues. Not open to students having completed COM 20 with a "C" or better.Usually HeldWed 9:40am–11:05am, Wed 11:20am–12:45pm
