Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAn introduction to the theory and practice of chemical dependency counseling with special emphasis on treatment planning, implementation and documentation. The core functions of the chemical dependency counselor in the early intervention, assessment and treatment planning phases of recovery counseling will be introduced and developed. The need to interface with others in the medical and mental health community in developing a multi-dimensional approach to treatment will be included. Designed for students interested in obtaining CAADAC certification.
