    Description
    A survey of the range of cultural phenomena including language, patterns of subsistence, economic organization, marriage and the family, kinship, political organization, religion, the arts, and culture change. Examples taken from a wide range of foraging, tribal, and complex state societies are employed to illustrate the methodology, concepts, and theories of anthropological science. It is intended for both beginning anthropology majors and general education students.
