    This course is designed to help first-semester nursing students develop clinical reasoning skills to provide care for patients with basic medical-surgical problems. A variety of experiences are used to enhance clinical reasoning skills such as verbal discussion of various patient care scenarios, evolving patient case studies, simulations, and National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) practice questions. This course is offered on a Pass/No Pass basis only. This is an elective course in the Nursing Program.
