- Note reading in treble and bass clefs. Major and minor key signatures. Scales, arpeggios and primary triads in major and minor keys. Transposition, improvisation and harmonization. Development of sight reading ability, two-handed coordination, correct fingering techniques and proper use of weight and relaxation in production of tone. (C-ID MUS 170) (CSU/UC)
