    This course is designed to expand the student?s perspective about the nature of music around the world and also to demonstrate the relationship between musics in different cultures and will highlight elements common to all musics. Content may include the music of the cultures of India, China, Japan, Indonesia, Africa, Pacific Islands, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. (CSU/UC) (AA/AS-3, CSU-C1, IGETC-3A, Cal-GETC-3A)
