The course examines major scientific breakthroughs and technological innovations, their societal impacts, and their intersections with ethics, bias, and power structures. Topics include the role of artificial intelligence (AI), surveillance, and the ethical dimensions of technological advancement, particularly in relation to marginalized populations.
