It is an advanced course in the techniques utilized in the diagnosis and serial follow-up of cardiovascular disease using conventional imaging as well as strain, stress echo, and trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE). Special emphasis is given to incorporating the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) Guidelines. The classroom laboratory continues advanced instruction in the topics and performance of diagnostics tests in echocardiography.
