Students will develop their existing Spanish language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking through the study of academic Spanish vocabulary and grammar. Students will review historical and current events, art, culture, diversity, and literary works of Chicanx, Latinx, and Spanish writers to enrich the knowledge of the Spanish-speaking world and develop an appreciation for the diversity of Hispanic cultures of all Spanish-speaking countries and in the United States.
