Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course is the second course of the ESL Academic Reading sequence for multilingual students who need proficiency in academic literacy. Building on the skills developed in Level 1, it prepares students to tackle more complex and longer academic texts. The course emphasizes critical reading skills such as analyzing arguments, recognizing patterns of organization, and understanding nuanced vocabulary. Students will also practice making connections between texts and their own experiences and knowledge. Throughout the course, students will complete two books in English, allowing them to deepen their understanding and apply their analytical skills. Not Transferalbe.
