    Formerly: ECON C2002 . An introductory course using models of the domestic and international economy to understand national income, unemployment, inflation, economic growth, inequality, the financial system, and monetary, fiscal, and other economic policies. The course applies economic analysis to the aggregate economy including measurement of economic activity and explores economic fluctuations in the economy, the causes of recessions, gains from trade, and global economic disparities.
