    Description
    Formerly: Art History and Appreciation 2 - Renaissance to Present. This course provides an overview of art and architecture from the Renaissance to the present day. Students will examine the influence of social, cultural, political, religious, philosophical, and historical contexts on the art and architecture of this time. Key artists, art movements, artworks, and architectural sites will be studied. Traditional forms of art such as painting, sculpture, and photography will be discussed as well as newer examples from the 20th and 21st centuries. C-ID: ARTH 120.
