    Description
    SOC S 145 is designed to give students an academicbackgroundincommunityservice volunteerism and service learning as well as to allow them an opportunity to do community volunteer work for credit. The course will include one lecture hour per week and three lab hours of community service work per week. The course emphasizes social and psychological factors associated with volunteer service in America. It also uses an interdisciplinary lens to examine the nature of possible solutions to problems within the community.
