- PHILO 130 introduces students to the most influentialtheoriesandthinkersofsocialand political philosophy. We will discuss issues including justice, freedom, power, authority, labor, and racial and gender equity from perspectives such as liberalism, Marxism, and post-colonialism. We will also examine contemporarysocialandpoliticalissueswith these frameworks.
