- MUSIC 127 is designed to provide nonmajors with a broader understanding of the multicultural world community. Students are introduced to music through an understanding of culture, as it occurs throughout the world, including Africa, North, Central and South America, Asia, the Indian subcontinent and Europe. Music expression is viewed as an outgrowth of diverse cultural needs.
