    Description
    HUMAN 115 is an interdisciplinary course in which students explore how myths give meaning to human experience. The field of mythological studies examines how mythological stories illuminate the worldview of a people or group, account for a practice or a belief, or explain a natural phenomenon. Students will compare myths from several cultures from the perspectives of the cultures where they originate, explore the different ways these manifest as collective experiences,andinvestigatetheircontinuing relevancetoourcontemporarylives.
