- ESL 136 is designed to help intermediate Credit ESL students to read academic materials in order to analyze, discuss, and write about their understanding of the texts. The course places heavy emphasis on academic interdisciplinary vocabulary development.Studentsusevariousstrategies to increase their reading comprehension of both fiction and non-fiction texts.
