    Description
ENGL 115 introduces students to the craft, theory, and practice of writing fiction. How do writers craft short stories and novels? How do the structural, stylistic, and thematic elements, as well as identity and experience, inform narrative? In this class, students compose their own works of fiction in addition to reading, discussing, and writing about contemporary fictional works representing a diverse variety of writers with different backgrounds, approaches, and styles.
