    EMS248introducesthestudenttocardiovascular emergencies and the care of patients presenting with such emergencies. Course topics include: assessment of the cardiovascular system, electrocardiogram (ECG) acquisition and interpretation of various heart dysrhythmias, pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease and treatments (including pharmacology) indicated for presenting disease.
