Students will analyze the social construction of gender, feminism, and gender issues in relation to family, education, work, health and reproduction, law, sexuality, media/representation, and globalization. Students will apply critical concepts and tools of feminist and gender studies in their academic and personal lives, and in the community; and they will contribute to the struggle for gender equality.
