With attention to the interactions between humans and environment, developing states, cultures, economics, and social structures are examined in global context. The course emphasizes historical, analytical, and research skills. It asks students to analyze the evolution of global values, beliefs, and practices, as well as the conditions and results of social change and globalized human activity.
