Topics include: historical geography; geographical techniques and methodology; demography; languages and religions; urbanization and landscape modification; political units and nationalism; and economic systems and development. Emphasis is given to interrelationships between human activities and the biophysical environment. This course has the option of a letter grade or pass/no pass. (C-ID:GEOG 120)
