    Description
    Introduces the principles and practices of effective communication in small group settings. Emphasizes effective communication and presentation skills in small group settings. Covers essential public speaking principles for delivering clear, informative, and persuasive messages within group environments. Introduces key theories, strategies, and processes relevant to small group dynamics. Enhances students' abilities in speaking, active participation, problem-solving and leadership as part of a collaborative team. This course aims to develop skills in decision-making, conflict resolution, and persuasive messaging within a team environment. Offers practical experience through instructor-evaluated group presentations, interactive projects, and in-class activities. Requires weekly team meetings outside of scheduled class time to support collaborative work. C-ID: (COMM 140).
