Topics include nomenclature, stereochemistry, mechanisms, reactions and spectroscopic studies of organic compounds. Lecture and laboratory methods will focus on synthesis, isolation, purification, elucidation, and identification of organic structures, as well as instrumental methods and data interpretation.
