    Description
    This two (2) week, eight (8) day course is designed to prepare students to provide basic health care in the home environment. This course includes interpretation of medical/social needs, personal care services, cleaning tasks, nutrition, and the scope of limitations of a home health aide. All students who achieve a grade of "C" or better will be eligible for a Home Health Aide Certificate from the State of California Department of Public Health. PREREQUISITE: Active California C.N.A. certification or successful completion with a minimum score of 75% or equivalent in AH 180. Also, eligible for English 250 and English 260.
