    54 hours lecture per term. This course provides an overview of criminal law and practice. Students will become familiar with the substantive and procedural aspects of criminal proceedings in both state and federal courts. Topics include the role of the paralegal in prosecution and defense of criminal defendants, researching and drafting criminal court documents, constitutional ramifications in criminal courts, sentencing, and appeal procedures.
