- 54 hours lecture per term. This course is a practical introduction for those seeking a career as a paralegal. Topics include: an overview of the law and our court system; the fundamentals of legal research, legal analysis, and writing; evaluation of legal authorities; legal ethics concerning the attorney and paralegal; interviewing clients and witnesses; and the role of the paralegal in the modern law office.
