    18 hours lecture and 18 hours lab per term. This course is designed to help music majors prepare for a university keyboard proficiency exam, but open to anyone interested in improving their piano skills. It includes emphasis on basic keyboard harmonization using primary chord inversions, technique, transposition, accompaniment patterns, rhythm accuracy, and late elementary/early intermediate piano repertoires. Field trips may be required outside of regularly-scheduled class times. Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass option. (Degree Credit) (CSU) (UC)
