    Description
    54 hours lecture and 18 hours lab per term. This course focuses on finding and telling visual stories from large quantities of data. Students will find, obtain and analyze data. They will create accurate, telling visualizations - such as maps, charts, diagrams and graphs - to show statistical information; critically evaluate visual communication for accuracy, thoroughness and effectiveness; and study and practice techniques through the production of graphics for college and community publications.
