    54 hours lecture per term. This course covers the history and vocabulary of lighting; the physiological and psychological effects of various types of lighting; effects of lighting on color; industry codes and standards; automation in lighting; energy efficiency; environmental impact; safety; and electrical considerations. Students will complete a lighting plan layout including a schedule, product sourcing and specifications. (Degree Credit) (CSU)
