This course covers the application of design principles and elements in planning interior environments that meet the needs and desires of the occupant while addressing functionality and sustainability. The design process is emphasized encompassing user requirements, design concept, basic space planning, furniture arrangement, color theory, and coordination of fabrics and surfaces.
