This course is a continuation of graphics, plant usage, and design theory covered in HORT 200 F with emphasis on hillside developments and commercial projects. A survey of historical development of landscape. Design of landscape structures (walls, patio overheads, steps, walkways, pools) with focus placed on the basic qualities of the construction materials. Elements of perspective drawings for project presentations. Detailed site analysis and evaluation of ecological factors. Field trips are part of laboratory, including one weekend trip required of all students. (Degree Credit) (CSU)
