    HIST C1001 History of the United States to 1877. 54 hours lecture per term. This course is a historical survey of the United States, from Indigenous North America to the end of Reconstruction. The course also introduces students to historical reasoning skills. Credit will be granted for either ( HIST 127 F ) or (HIST C1001 F and HIST C1002 F) or (HIST C1001 F and HIST C1002HF) or (HIST C1001HF and HIST C1002 F) or (HIST C1001HF and HIST C1002HF).
