- 54 hours lecture per term. This Honors-enhanced course focuses on women in American society from the Colonial era to the present with emphasis on the social sphere of women, women's health, and the role of women in wartime and peace and in such movements as the antebellum reform, suffrage and feminism as well as gender specific problems for women in the United States.
