This course examines the physical properties of the atmosphere, including solar heating and cooling, atmospheric circulation, weather systems, extreme weather, atmospheric optics, climate change, and weather radar, maps and forecasting. The effects of human activities on Earth's climate will be emphasized. Field trips may be required outside of regularly-scheduled class times.
