This course is an introduction to texts by writers who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and/or other sexual and gender expressions. The course analyzes major themes, such as definition, identity, community, love/sex/relationships, health, resistance, performativity, and intersectionality in LGBTQIA+ literature.
