    Description
    54 hours lecture per term. This Honors-enhanced course is a survey of literature written in English from 1800 to the present and will emphasize literary trends and historical backgrounds. Students will read and discuss fiction, poetry, drama, and prose from the Romantic, Victorian, Modern, Postmodern and Postcolonial eras in Great Britain and other countries of the Empire and Commonwealth.
