    Description
    54 hours lecture per term. This course involves the reading and discussion of selected short stories emphasizing analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. The course will focus on the short story as a genre. There will be an emphasis on the cultural and historical contexts of the texts covered and on the variety of writers and styles.
